Yoga Facts
Yoga is certainly something that has been around for a very long amount of time, and it actually comes from India and has been there for centuries. Asana is actually what it is called but we call it yoga in the western world, I guess it makes sense. I am guessing that the reason we call it yoga is because it just makes sense to do it here.
There is of course a purpose to yoga and it is an attempt to restore a person’s well being, help with body flexibility and to help people that cannot sit still for more than five minutes, it really does help a lot. A lot of people out there seem to think that yoga is an easy exercise to do when it really is not at all. I cannot do a thing when it comes to yoga but I really enjoy my exercise. Many people also think that it is an easy way to shed the pounds, once again you will find this not to be true.
Asana is referring to do different things and they are where the person is sitting and the manner in which they are doing it, this is where the positions come from.
Once you get into this kind of thing a popular choice next is to go on one of those yoga holidays and these are great because it allows the person to perhaps learn positions that they have not used before. Spa holidays lead on directly from this and many people will mix the two together when they go away on their travels.

In terms of the yoga I would say go to India where you can learn how everything is done in the real world over there.
